CPN Electronics, Sunrise Florida and Denelex Industries, Ronkonkoma New York announced today plans for the merger of the two companies.

“We are pleased and excited about the opportunity the merge offers” said Vinny Zarrella President of CPN. “The merge fits well into our aggressive growth strategy and will essentially double our revenue overnight. The union expands our product offering, our off the shelf inventory and broadens our sales coverage. I believe the market has a need for a company that specializes in technical connector solutions and is committed to service, quality and the ability to adapt quickly to the customer’s needs”.

CPN specializes in Mil Aero circular connectors and accessories while Denelex is a market leader in RF connectors and assemblies. “The product mix complements both companies without product overlap or duplication of customer base” said Henry Shaw President of Denelex. “I felt the timing was right to expand our customer base and fast track our growth with a company that shared our same philosophy”.

The company will emerge as the CPN / Denelex Group and will maintain sales and warehouse operations in Sunrise and Ronkonkoma as well as a west coast sales office in Costa Mesa, California. The merger is expected to be complete by June 1st, 2010.
